Mummar Gadaffi (deixei de me preocupar com a boa transliteração) dirigiu-se ontem, em Tripoli, a duas organizações islâmicas europeias que visitavam o país, intimando-as a juntarem-se à People's Leadership of the Islamic World, a que ele preside, nestes termos (a transcrição procede da Firas Press - adverte-se o leitor que o inglês é francamente mau, pelo que recorri, cotejando, à reprodução do Elder of Zion, que presumo competente, e é, com ligeiras alterações na sintaxe errada do original, o mesmo texto, mesmo assim numa prosa muito bera):

- «No one can prevent us from living in Europe: Europe was created by God. Europeans did not create it, and you are the people of Europe, you are European, this is your land. How can you live there and be servile or persecuted?! You cannot.»
Uma nota: Gadaffi, ou Kadafi, ou lá como o nome se escreve em alfabeto latino e em português, foi eleito com 155 votos para a organização das Nações Unidas que dá pelo nome de Conselho das Nações Unidas para os Direitos Humanos. O voto, por mais incompreensível que possa parecer, é secreto. Por exclusão de partes, 38 países votaram contra ou abstiveram-se. Estaria o ministro dos Negócios Estrangeiros de Portugal, de um governo que tem mantido com o regime líbio excelentes relações, na disposição de revelar o voto português na reunião do passado dia 13 de Maio? Algum jornal lhe perguntou? E lidará o Parlamento com semelhantes ninharias?
